Announcement for ERASMUS students

ATTENTION:

The announcement refers to ERASMUS students who are part of Greek teams 

Dear ERASMUS students,

as you all know, the aim of the course is to give you the opportunity to approach, evaluate and present the existing situation of a “case study” [public space in urban environment] not through a passive approach but in a critical manner.

In order to be evaluated and pass the course, you have to prepare a synoptic essay and embodied it, as independent chapter, in the final essay of your team [1,000-1,500 words / bibliography, references, footnotes are not counted].

Based on the research you have done so far with the Greek students, you are asked to describe the problem, identify its main components / disciplines / axes, evaluate pros and cons, underline the crucial issues which, according to your opinion, have to be faced and answered, try to see the spatial dimensions of those issues / problems.

Afterwards, express your alternative ideas or thoughts in a synoptic way. Don't forget to present the pros and cons of your ideas!

Finally, try to make a comparison between the Greek “case study” and another one from your city and end up with some conclusions.
