Green Academy competition

University of Bologna, in partnership with the IUAV of Venice, the UNL of Santa Fé,  has supported some interesting architectural competitions open to students and young designers, aiming to involve the academic world to interesting and up-to-date architectural  topics.  The project is coordinated by YAC –Young Architects Competitions- a group that, since 2013, has been organizing 8 important architectural contests which involved many prestigious and international institutions, like Casabella magazine, Crab Studio, Snohetta, Bjarke New York and many others.

During next months (between May and August) YAC will promote “Green Academy”, an interesting call for ideas for designers aiming at the transformation of a former paper factory in Marzabotto (Bologna, Italy) in a training and museum international center awarding  the best projects with 20.000 € cash prizes.

This project represents for the students a real occasion to deal with stimulating and up-to-date architectural and social topics.
