"Marsception 2018" Architecture competition

Volume Zero is a unique platform that exhibits numerous innovations by architects and designers all across the globe. Under this initiative, we have come up with New Age International architecture & design competitions. The competitions held previously have opened up to inspirational themes gaining an overwhelming response from over 40 countries. We now look forward to hosting our 4th Architecture competition, “MARSCEPTION 2018 ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION”, an ideas competition for designing on Mars. The previous decade has witnessed Mars as a potential new habitat for earth’s future population. With many visionary organizations and their ground-breaking research, the unseen future of inhabiting the Red Planet is not only a possibility but an opportunity to create a utopian tomorrow.

The “MARSCEPTION 2018 ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION” invites all those who believe in this unseen utopian future to put forth their ideas on creating a self-sustainable living space for the initial habitants on the Red Planet.

Winners will be awarded a total prize of $4000 USD. The awards will take a collective view of the jury and spot the design excellence and innovation every participant has to offer. Both students and professionals are welcomed to participate.

The scheduled dates for the competition are as follows:

March 18th, 2018 – Launch of Competition

June 30th, 2018 – Last date for submission of entries

August 20th, 2018 – Announcement of results

As an initiative to encourage maximum participation from young budding talents, we shall be putting forth group discounts for a minimum of 5 teams from one particular architecture school/ university.
