Military Museum _ YAC's new competition
YAC's projects have been supported by several professional and academic partners like Patrik Schumacher (co-director of Zaha Hadid Architects), Peter Cook (Crab Studio), Yama Karim (Libeskind studio), Mario Cucinella (Cucinella Architects), Shigeru Ban Architects, Foster+Partners, Snohetta, Casabella Magazine, the Universities of Melbourne, Santa Fé, Venice, Bologna and Rome.
We are currently promoting Military Museum, an interesting project in cooperation with the Italian Government aiming to transform the Military Fortress of Capo d’Orso into a museum of the military, marine and navigation history.
There will be a total amount of 20.000 € in prize money for the awarded proposals and the jury of the competition gathers outstanding international personalities Rossana Hu (Neri&Hu), Fuensanta Nieto (Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos), Livia Tani (Atelier Jean Nouvel), Todd Saunders (Saunders Architecture), Edoardo Tresoldi.
This architectural competition is going to be a great opportunity to develop creative ideas for such a design topic and we would be glad if you could share this with your students.
