Summer workshop with Constructlab
Call for participation for summer construction site in Genk, Belgium.
This project will take course from the 21st of August until the 2nd of September.
ConstructLab is a collaborative construction practice and a European network, which manages different kinds of projects around Europe.
This summer in Genk we will collaboratively build a socio-circular gate to technology. Above the once busy tunnels of a venturous mining enterprise, we want to revive a courageous spirit and erect a common Arch from a newly invented material.
We are looking for 30 enthusiastic participants to work, build and live together in a structure that we call our social and experimental laboratory. This is an opportunity to inhabit a construction site with an open door to public space, to acquire practical and unexpected knowledge and to make surprising acquaintances.

We believe that this constructive experience should attract the students, since it could give them the opportunity to turn what they learn at school into practice !
The two weeks of construction would also offer them a unique occasion to meet students, experienced architects and artists from all over Europe.
