Contemporary urban and planning theory. Focus on the history of theory and practice in urban planning and design during the second half of the 20th century. The course aims at demonstrating the complex relationship between the academically dominant theoretical movements and the peculiarities that characterize planning and urban development in the local contexts of European cities -and in Greece in particular- in relation to social circumstances and local history.
