Architectural works are being morphologically analyzed and interpreted through parameters such as function, place, cultural context, materials and construction techniques, and mainly, through choices, intentions and the will of the architect regarding the mode that all the above are being organized and conflated into a central idea, a system of design principles or a scenario that define the character of every work.
The module aims at developing the theoretical and synthetic skills of the students towards architectural criticism, and critical self-reflection during the design process.
