Call for Applications for Doctoral Studies (PhD) 2020-2021

The School of Architecture is inviting applications for Doctoral Studies (leading to a PhD) to the following Departments and research fields:

1. “Architectural Design”
2. “Urban and Regional Planning”
3. “Architectural Language, Communication and Design”
4. “Architectural Technology”

Interested applicants can send their application via e-mail (postgrad-secr@arch.ntua.gr) by attaching one file (rar, zip or 7z), entitled “Application for PhD 2020-2021 (surname) (name)”, containing all documents as separate pdf files and numbered as seen below.

1. Application (attached file).
2. Proposal: An abstract including the focal point of the research, the methodology and an index of bibliography.
3. Curriculum Vitae.
4. Academic studies: Officially verified copy of certificates and academic transcripts, including final grade average with an explanation of grading system (maximum grade, minimum grade, etc.). A certificate of equivalence from the Greek National Academic Recognition Information Center (NARIC: http://www.doatap.gr/en/) for each degree.
5. Languages (at least one, including native language): Documentation of sufficient knowledge of foreign languages .
6. Recommendation letters (at least two): Must be sent by the authors via e-mail (postgrad-secr@arch.ntua.gr) within the deadline mentioned below.
7. Identification: Copy of identification card or passport.

The deadline for submitting the application is Thursday the 21st of May, 12:00 pm (Athens local time), under penalty of exclusion.
