Detailed study of planning issues on urban, national and regional level. The course provides theoretical and applied knowledge on matters concerning the organisation and planning of space on urban, national and regional level. It explores the dynamics of spatial phenomena, the socio-economic parameters, the functional context and the planning practice in Greece and internationally. The course has the form of a seminar, and the teaching procedure pays particular attention to special needs of every student project. Support material is provided by the Departments’ research activity. Case studies include issues concerning sustainable development, tourism and the environment, the productive base, etc.
