Through diverse methodological approaches, experimental models from the whole spectrum of the cultural field, the use of heterogeneous expressive media in reference to corresponding artworks on a global scale basic aim of the course is to compose an elaborated visual work that elaborates a direct communicativeeffect.
As optical media we refer to a personalized kind of visual object that can convey an informative, dissuasive or encouraging message by drawing content primarily from the field of advertising, everyday life or politics.
The associative extension of the text, the personal or collective memory, the lived experience of the social and residential territory of Topos (cities, landscapes, trips) are some of the elements that will assemble the content, meaning and conceptual origin of each proposed work. The vocabulary and syntax of the visual language combined with the narrative structure and the entropy of the artistic practicewill be the tools for the production and the understanding of the "image" as a construction and will redefine our visual perception of our everyday environment.
