History of stage-design from antiquity to the end of the 20th century. Stage-design and artists in modern Greece. The relation between architecture and stage-design.

The development of the architecture of christian orthodox church with an emphasis on issues of form, aesthetics and symbolism.

Teacher

The course examines the natural and man-made environment of Santorini, focusing on the morphology born out of the volcanic and seismic underground laboratory of the insular complex, as well as the condition for the inhabitation of the cliffs (caldera) and the valleys (potamoi) with the use of local materials.
