The primary goal of this course is to introduce first year students to basic concepts of French scientific terminology in order to help them correspond to the needs of modern science. Also, the course aims at introducing students to basic morphosyntactic phenomena of the French language through academic texts in order to develop the skills needed for the comprehension and production of academic discourse. The course is supported by the instructor’s appropriate didactic material and “My Courses” NTUA platform of asynchronous tele-education.
