This course covers the history and theory from the Neoclassical to the Modern Period. Specifically we examine the revival of historical rhythms in the 19th century and the formation of the neoclassical city. We discuss the emergence of Classicism and Romanticism in Art, the advent of the Industrial Revolution and the new materials, and the Modern Architecture and Art before and after the Second World War.
